As I get set to celebrate my 40th birthday on October 29, I invite you to be one of 1,000 people to make a donation of $40 or more in support of the Greenbelt Conservancy.
Growing up on Staten Island, the Greenbelt has been a special place for me throughout my life. Its more than 2,800 acres of natural land and open space, including a 35-mile trail system, remain to this day a treasured oasis for exploration, training runs (not as many these days as I would like!), and to meet and celebrate with friends.
I now have the absolute privilege to serve as a member of the Greenbelt Conservancy's Board of Directors. I am dedicated to preserving and protecting the land for the next generation. This campaign not only will honor my milestone, but will give a much-needed boost to the Conservancy's operating funds to do more for Staten Island and to ensure that our neighbors and community have this incredible resource for generations to come.
All are welcome to give so please share!
The mission of the Greenbelt Conservancy is to promote, sustain, and enhance Staten Island's 2,800-acre Greenbelt through education, recreation, conservation, and research. The Greenbelt Conservancy is a not-for-profit organization that works in partnership with NYC Parks.
