2 last-ditch pony mare rescues to end the year

1/4 UPDATE- We got them picked up from the kill pen late last night with preliminary eye medication starting today and the vet already called. Okay rescuers, now is the moment! These are two teenage pony mares caught to the slaughter pipeline, one medium and one large. The bay needs immediate medical attention for her eyes and was listed as having been abused.

All told, we need to pull together $5300* to save both of these ponies and get them to Pony Up Rescue Collective in Tivoli. From there, the volunteers and I can get them medical care, rehab and find them safe forever homes. 

*Bail and pick up for both is $1800. Quarantine is $900. Shipping is $1600. Vet, farrier, and dental are additional and will be at least $1000 - possibly more if we have to enucleate an eye. They will reach Pony Up Rescue Collective at the start of February.
