About This Fundraiser
Calculated Genius is a non-profit
organization dedicated to helping underrepresented youth connect to and explore
engineering, to inspire a brighter future. Calculated Genius provides STEM+
programming for Chicago high school students, scholarships for females pursuing
post secondary degrees in engineering or computer science, and mentorship. We look to demonstrate through example a pathway to
sustainable, rewarding, and essential careers in STEM.
With your support, we can continue creating viable career paths in the engineering industry for our diverse group of talented students from across Chicago!
All our programming is provided at no cost to our students. Discover the impact of your donation:
- $30.00 will cover the cost of one participant in a Pop-Up event
- $250.00 covers the costs of materials for 1 high school Summer Scholars Participant
- $1,000 can provide a scholarship to a young woman enrolled as an engineering or computer science major at a postsecondary institution
- $2,500 can provide a scholarship to a young woman enrolled as an engineering or computer science major at a postsecondary institution
- $5,000 can provide a scholarship to a young woman enrolled as an engineering or computer science major at a postsecondary institution
