Friends, I am excited to share my involvement with a fantastic organization (pingpongforgood.org). We recently launched the Bay Area chapter in partnership with a beautiful facility (888TTC) in Burlingame and it has been a great success. We are adding new attendees weekly and we have a lot of demand for a weekend class. Our goal is to expand the offering to more participants locally (by adding a weekend class at 888TTC) as well as adding classes in new cities. Please support our end-of-year capital campaign to help bring this unique and effective form of therapy to more individuals around the country! Note: We have secured a matching gift of $1000 for the first $1000 we raise!

Every week we hear about the impact of the Ping Pong for Good program from our participants, their care partners, and our coaches. We can’t wait to make it widely available in North America!

At this year's Inaugural Table Tennis World Health Congress, Ping Pong for Good presented our work on the global stage and heard from other experts and researchers around the world about the powerful health benefits of ping pong. They confirmed what we see every day regarding the success of utilizing ping pong to promote healthy aging and to enhance the quality of life for those with movement disorders.

We know it’s not a matter of IF but WHEN ping pong therapy will be widely prescribed by doctors, physical therapists, and movement specialists as a prescription in managing movement disorders including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and MS. We are at the forefront of a global initiative and invite you to join us in bringing this vital program to those who need it most.

At Ping Pong for Good, our mission is to transform table tennis into a widely accessible form of fitness and therapy, enhancing cognitive, physical, and mental health. We've designed a group exercise class leveraging ping pong's neuromotor benefits to combat cognitive decline and assist in managing conditions like Parkinson’s and dementia. We’ve recently completed a pilot with 4 locations, 125+ in-person sessions, and over 1,500+ sessions attended with participants reporting remarkable improvements in their physical and emotional well-being. Our initiative is a strategic, fun-filled approach to fostering well-being through the joy of ping pong focusing on seniors and people living with brain diseases.

Your donations with help expand our low-cost, high-impact program to other cities. It will support the completion of our Instructor Training Certification Program, which is at the heart of making ping pong an accessible, enjoyable, and therapeutic activity. It includes webinars, learning aids, and live online training that is intended for coaches and facilitators to lead and facilitate sessions. Our classes are designed to promote healthy aging and to help reduce symptoms and slow the progression associated with neurological conditions, with an initial focus on Parkinson's.
