Consider giving $5 a day (the price of a cup of coffee) to provide unique opportunities for our future teen leaders.
Climate change will have profound effects on today’s youth, introducing weather extremes and new challenges that will disproportionately affect those in marginalized communities. Interestingly, climate change is generating novel opportunities and career options, especially for students with the skills needed to implement climate solutions and strengthen our climate resilience. Youth are therefore a critical target for climate change education. Public schools are increasingly discussing climate change, but coverage of this rapidly evolving topic is uneven and often falls short. SGAP’s Sustainability Challenge and Climate Change curriculum were designed to address this gap by offering schools novel, highly-engaging learning experiences that spark curiosity and inspire students toward climate action.
Help fund our in-school CLIMATE CLINICS and Sustainability Exchange Program. Your contribution helps to mitigate costs of our STEM kits, provide transportation to our program sites for our students and provide the supplies for their projects. More importantly, you will be helping to empower our teens as they develop their confidence and voices. THANK YOU!
