Big Mike's Birthday!

Welcome to "Big Mike's Birthday!" fundraiser, supporting the incredible nonprofit organization, Casa De Luz SD. The aim of this fundraising event is to raise funds for Casa de Luz TJ, a sister organization providing refuge and support to LGBTQ+ refugees who have left their home countries in search of safety and a brighter future.

Casa de Luz SD is dedicated to supporting Casa de Luz TJ and their mission to offer a safe haven for individuals who have lived in fear of persecution due to their sexual orientation or gender identification. The need for such support is urgent, as trans, lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals from all over the world are fleeing their homes to escape epidemic levels of violence, criminal gangs, and security forces.

In the past year, the organization has helped 288 people cross the border! The shelter houses at any one time, 50+ individuals seeking asylum.  By participating in "Big Mike's Birthday!" fundraiser, you can make a significant impact on the lives of these courageous individuals. Your contributions will directly support Casa de Luz TJ in providing vital resources such as shelter, food, medical care, and emotional support to LGBTQ+ refugees.
