SVP Tucson aimed to maximize fundraising efforts during its annual Fast Pitch event while allowing attendees to support their favorite nonprofits. They faced the challenge of ensuring that guests could easily donate to specific organizations as each nonprofit took the stage to present their pitches. Additionally, they wanted to provide attendees the option to split their donations among multiple nonprofits if desired. To achieve this, they needed a seamless and efficient solution that would encourage active participation and donations during the event.
By partnering with Pledge, SVP Tucson was able to use a simple and user-friendly CTA through text-to-donate, empowering their audience to easily donate to their preferred nonprofits as the live pitch event took event. It also provided donors with the option to split donations among all participating nonprofit organizations in this cohort of pitches. The result was an impressive 62% conversion rate, significantly enhancing the overall fundraising experience. With an average donation of $235.35, the combined efforts of SVP Tucson and Pledge led to a total of $61,192 raised through their 2024 event.
