Turning for Home Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to retiring and rehabbing retired racehorses needing a second career. With the support of the racing Owners, Jockeys, Horsemen, and Parx Management, we work tirelessly to provide the medical care, retraining, and loving attention that these horses deserve. With your support, we can continue our mission to give every single retiring racehorse at Parx the safe landing and next step they deserve.

Why Donate?

• Rescue: Your donation helps us save horses from the racetrack who might have fallen through the cracks.
• Rehabilitation: At the track, we can intercept those needing immediate surgery who might not otherwise have the opportunity—your funds help us ensure they recover properly.
• Placement: We work to place horses in suitable homes where they can thrive as companion animals, pleasure horses, or in new careers.
• Outreach: Part of our mission is to promote our amazing athletes and educate current and future owners about advances in care, and your donation helps us provide this.

• $250 – Supports rehabilitation and training
• $500 – Provides feed and care for a month
