Our entire business model is based on the generosity of donors - when donors like the free service that we provide, they can leave an optional tip to cover our operational costs. Over the last few years, mission-driven individuals, companies, and nonprofits around the world have trusted Pledge to be their fundraising platform of choice and this has enabled us the opportunity to pay the credit card fees on our own.
Yes, the nonprofit will receive 100% of all donations from donations under $1,000! Over 98% of donations processed by Pledge are under $1,000, which means that on average, the nonprofit is going to receive 100% of the funds raised through a Pledge fundraiser. For any donations over $1,000, you will receive the donation minus credit card fees of $2.9% + $0.30.

Unlike a majority of other platforms out there, Pledge doesn’t charge any monthly fees, software fees, or set-up fees. And now, we also cover the credit card fees too! The only fee charged by Pledge is a $5 per-payout fee to cover the cost of our disbursements to nonprofits around the world. This combines all funds received from multiple sources (i.e. Shopify, Evite, and a Donate button on your website), so you’ll only be charged once!
