As a career mother with 3 children, I know firsthand the challenges we face when navigating work and family. Despite working for a large company with access to California leave programs through my first two pregnancies, I still faced inadequacies regarding postpartum health, career impact, affordable childcare, and more. My experience through my first two parental leaves would be considered lucky as it is much more than most, but the reality is 1 in 4 moms in America are back to work within 2 weeks of having a baby. All donations to the Chamber of Mothers goes a long way in fighting for American moms.
