YourJewish High Holy Day Campaign

Dear friends, program participants, and supporters of YourJewish,

I am so grateful that I get to wake up every day and pursue my professional dreams with YourJewish, and am honored to be doing so with the support of our initial Board of Directors and so many others in our community. Thank you to everyone who has supported us these last 15 months

The mission of YourJewish is to provide creative and meaningful Jewish experiences for those who are unengaged or under-engaged in Jewish life in the Twin Cities.

The work we do is critical for the health of the broader Jewish community. In the Twin Cities, data from the 2019 Twin Cities Jewish Population Study shows that there are over 80,000 people living in Jewish households, but only 16% are immersed in Jewish life, and less than 30% belong to a synagogue.

The study identified that there are over 25,000 people looking for community who haven't found it yet.

By contributing to our High Holy Day Campaign you will be helping us engage some of these folks in the following ways:

1. Supporting Educational Initiatives: Your donations will fund new and creative Jewish education initiatives for adults and families with young children that get out of the classroom into creative spaces in the public sphere.

2. Enhancing Programs: Contributions will enable to us offer high level programming without charging exorbitant participant fees.

3. Engaging Young Adults:  Young Adults are the most under-engaged age demographic in the Twin Cities. Your donation helps fund our Young Adult programming that meets twice a month over the course of the year.

4. Providing Financial Aid for Life Cycle Rituals: Your donation will ensure that finances are never a barrier for any family who is interested in receiving our life cycle services.

Your donation to this High Holy Day campaign is more than just a financial contribution; it is an investment in the future of the entire Twin Cities Jewish community and we truly could not operate with your support. Every dollar raised will have a profound impact, enabling YourJewish to do the critical work of providing more people an avenue to engage in Jewish life and community.
