Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana on Sunday, August 29, as a Category 4 storm packing sustained winds of 150 mph—one of the strongest storms ever to hit the mainland United States.

Support the recovery efforts in Louisiana by donating to one - or all - of these nonprofits who have boots on the ground in the New Orleans Metropolitan area.

Louisiana SPCA - Evacuating animals from hurricane areas and transferring them across the country.

Airlink Flights - Working with aviation and logistics partners to transport relief workers and emergency supplies .
