Help is desperately needed in Maui.

Maui and the Hawaiian islands are a place of community, a place of Ohana ('family'), and a place that many of us have called home. We've come together to help Maui during its darkest hour and are committed to doing all that we can to help with the ongoing disaster relief and the longer-term, rebuilding of an island that we all love.

Donations can be made to individual organizations, or evenly split between 4 nonprofits that are actively helping families with their essential needs (i.e. food, shelter, etc.), displaced pets, and have all been selected because they are local and actively working on the relief effort. All donations will be tax-deductible and you'll receive a tax receipt once you've donated.

  • Maui Humane Society - The Humane Society is adding capacity to help with the huge influx of displaced animals on the island caused by the fires.
  • Maui Strong -  Set-up by the Hawaii Community Foundation, this fund will provide community resilience with resources for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery and is being used to support communities affected by the wildfires on Maui.
  • Maui Food Bank - With every $1 donated, the Maui Food Bank can provide 4 meals to the hungry living in our island community. The Maui Food Bank is providing meals to everyone dealing with hunger in the aftermath of the wildfires.
  • Boys & Girls Club of Maui - The Boys & Girls Club of Maui is helping families and kids impacted by the wildfires.
  • Merriman's Fund  - Started by the famous Merriman's restaurants, the Fund is feeding 7,000 people per day right now and needs donations to fund their ongoing efforts.
  • Period Abundance Project - The organization is working directly with Lahaina community leader Audrie Green to help the women of Lahaina recover; as well as the grassroots, Maui-based organization Pacific Birth Collective to distribute period products for those in need.

On behalf of all of us, thank you for your donation and for your support. If you are not able to donate, we would greatly appreciate you sharing this link, or text code (Text MAUI to 707070), so we can spread awareness and ensure that we support those in Maui who need it most.

Aloha.
