GIVE A NOTE FOUNDATION

Give A Note is a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization with a mission to engage and empower educators, inspire students, and expand the reach and impact of music education. Give A Note grant funding programs specifically address the widespread problem for a lack of funding for innovation and culturally relevant music education opportunities in our public schools, specifically in historically marginalized communities. Our work bridges a gap in music education by helping music educators keep music relevant and accessible to all students because music can be a common language among students whose citizenship, cultural identity, ability, and feeling of belonging may differ. Creating environments in which students can play together and share familial and cultural influences allows space for learning and growth in profound and significant ways.
