We are raising funds to support the amazing work of Orchestrating Dreams, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality music education programs to underserved communities in Washington Heights, Inwood, Jackson Heights and the Bronx.

Orchestrating Dreams is committed to ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their background, have access to the transformative power of music education. Through mentorships, family education, and cultural events, they are helping individuals develop a lifelong love for music and learning.

By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping Orchestrating Dreams continue to bring equity and access to music education in our communities. Every dollar raised will go towards providing resources, instruments, and opportunities for children to realize their full potential through music.

No gift is too small to make a difference:

• $1,000 covers 10 private lessons
• $500 covers the cost of one student to participate in orchestras and group classes for 2 months
• $250 pays for a pianist to accompany students on their recorded auditions for colleges
• $100 provides a music accessories pack for one student (rosin, strings, tuner/metronome, stand)
• $75 helps us replace a broken bow
• $50 helps us buy a set of new strings
• $25 provides one music stand for a student
• $10 provides one tuner/metronome
• $5 provides a student with rosin

Music education has often been a privilege accessible only to the few who could afford private music instruction. Orchestrating Dreams aims to bring equity and access to music education to the communities of Washington Heights, Inwood, Jackson Heights, and the Bronx. All children deserve access to high quality music education regardless of their zip code, income, age, race, gender, or sexual orientation. In the hands of Orchestrating Dreams, music is a tool that fine tunes thoughts and feelings through healthy practice, gives voice to the voiceless, inspires action, and leads our communities to a more just and peaceful society.
