Founded in 2009, TGRCNM is dedicated to serving the transgender communities in the state of New Mexico and strives to exist as a home for resources which can support, assist, educate, and advocate for the transgender population of New Mexico and their families and loved ones. TGRCNM provides social, educational, emotional, and functional support for all facets of transgender living and promote mutual understanding, acceptance, and equality to achieve a more positive and healthy society.

The TGRCNM provides advocacy, education, and direct services in support of transgender, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, and gender variant people and their families. Your investment supports access to healthcare, food and basic needs, financial support, support groups, legal assistance, and more, while educating and advocating for the fair treatment of our community in New Mexico. 

TGRCNM is the only agency in New Mexico that exists solely to serve the transgender communities and their allies and loved ones. TGRCNM offers:

• Drop in services (snack, place to rest, someone to talk to, a safe place to be yourself)

• Computer usage and training

• A lending library

• Support groups

• Free confidential HIV testing

• Syringe exchange

• Youth programming

• An open donation closet for folks who need clothes, binders and other items

• Informal case management and help, information and referrals on name change, medical care and more for the transgender and gender variant people of Albuquerque and their loved ones
