The Children's Brain Tumor Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 by dedicated parents, physicians and friends. Our mission is: to improve the treatment, quality of life and the long term outlook for children with brain and spinal cord tumors through research, support, education, and advocacy to families and survivors.
CBTF is the nation's leader of family programs no matter where they are in the brain tumor journey. We have programs for every family member because we know a brain tumor diagnosis impacts the entire family forever.
CBTF holds the only six-day conference for teen and young adult brain tumor survivors. Each of the three sessions brings together over 60 patients and survivors to learn self-advocacy, have fun, and build lifelong friendships.
Teen and young adult brain tumor survivors often feel isolated and struggle to determine where they fit in. CBTF brings together survivors nationwide for cultural and adventure experiences where they build a strong support community.
Fundraising for an organization will help them help the world.
