ZIKA FOUNDATION's mission is to build sustainable communities by helping underserved people with focus on women and girls in their development, health, education and empowerment. We are motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ to cherish, preserve and uphold the sacredness and dignity of all human life, foster charity and justice, and embody Christ social and moral teaching as we act to:
Promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting disease and poverty, supporting education and nurturing peaceful and just societies.
Guided by the core values of partnership, integrity, accountability, respect, impact-driven and creativity, ZFI envisions a world in which the most vulnerable people will have the power to lift themselves out of poverty and to create vital, healthy lives for their families and communities now and for the future.
As part of the mission of ZIKA FOUNDATION, we work with local, national and international institutions and structures, as well as other organizations, to assist people on the basis of need, not creed, race or nationality.
