SIFA Fireside works with the homeless and vulnerably housed adults in Birmingham to provide immediate help and achieve lasting change. It is our vision that all homeless and vulnerably-housed people in Birmingham can access the services they need to achieve a more stable, healthier life.
SIFA Fireside operates the main Day Centre facilities in Birmingham. We are open seven days a week to help those in crisis, providing practical help and emotional support. We see on average 160 people each day at our Drop In in Digbeth-over 2,600 individuals a year. We support some of the city's most marginalised adults, many of whom have multiple and complex needs. SIFA Fireside addresses these needs through individual and group support in a trusted environment, providing support in a crisis as well as working with people over time. At our Drop In we provide immediate support such as food, showers, clothing and accommodation advice. We then empower clients to access follow on support within the Drop In. These support services include various health and well-being services, employment support, tenancy advice, welfare rights, mental health support. All support offered is available under one roof to get clients back on track so that they can lead a settled lifestyle.
