Helping to save the lives of furry friends
The founders of Maggie's Mission have been rescuing dogs and horses from ill fate for over 10 years and officially became a 501c3 in 2014. Maggie Muirden & Sarah Aitken, are passionate about saving the lives of furry friends. With the help of foster homes and great volunteers, this organization has been able to save and re-home numerous dogs and horses in Northeast Ohio. Many of Maggie's Mission rescue dogs were saved from urgent situations at the Cleveland Animal Control Facility, as well as other over-flowing shelters in the Northeast Ohio region. Maggie has a special love for horses, and many of the horses for adoption were rescued from auctions in Sugar Creek, Ohio.
