We launched a national campaign emphasizing changing the conversation and language surrounding mental health and wellness. Mental health refers to our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Good mental health means being generally able to think, feel and react in the ways that you need and want to live your life. If you're struggling with mental health issues, it's important to seek help and support from professionals.
