Our Impact

Jadet has always had a huge heart and a strong empathy for others. Due to his fear of letting others down, he often found himself following a crowd that made bad decisions; leading toward hustling to support his family unit. Failing school and always in the principals office, Jadet was eventually connected with I Believe In Me Inc to provide him with mentoring services and resources to support his goals and family. With the help of I Believe In Me, Jadet turned away from the streets, focused on his passion and progress and found himself graduating high school with a 3.6 GPA and a full time position at Tuckers Heating and Air; with an apprenticeship to become a professional plumber. Jadet enjoys helping his family financially and takes pride in the fact that he does it through legal means. He now returns back to the mentoring program and provides the same mentorship to youth who are in similar situations.

Our organization strives to break the generational cycles of struggle within marginalized communities. We provide our youth, their families, and the community around them with various resources that provide hope into their lives, including but not limited too: food, clothing, job opportunities, etc. Our goals include providing safe spaces for youth to avoid the people and places that will one day make their lives unmanageable and to ignite their passion toward positive and productive futures.
