Halton Women's Place is a non-profit organization devoted to assisting abused women and their dependent children. We offer the following services at no charge:
- Safe shelter that is strictly non-judgemental and supportive. - Comprehensive, non-residential and residential crisis counselling services to women and their dependent children. - 24-hour telephone counselling for women who just need to talk. - Referrals to other services as necessary. - Meals and emergency clothing. - Therapeutic and recreational activities to meet the needs of both pre-school and school-aged children.
