Pledge to make a difference, together.
We provide services to assist individuals (ages 13 and over) to heal from the devastating effects of sexualized violence. Services include:a 24-hour crisis and information line (250-383-3232), individual and group counselling, victim services support for survivors involved with the criminal justice system, and a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) that provides emergency accompaniment to the hospital for recent survivors of sexual assault. Other services include specialized workshops for family, partners and friends and community education and training.
The importance of prevention education for youth is recognized through the delivery of an award-winning program called Project Respect. Teens learn about the issue of sexual violence through school workshops and volunteer training. They are given the confidence and skills to express their own sexual values and boundaries and to promote a culture based on respect for self and others. Visit the project's website at www.yesmeansyes.com.
