HCN's Mission is to decrease the trauma of homelessness and domestic violence,as well as to increase the strength and effectiveness of the HCN Collaborative.
Homeless children and families are referred by HCN's collaborative of nineteen Emergency, Transitional, and Domestic Violence Shelters. Member shelters include: Hamilton Family Center, Hamilton Emergency Shelter, Hamilton Transitional Program, Asian Women's Shelter, Raphael House, Riley Center (Rosalie House and Brennan House), Richmond Hills Family Center, Tenderloin Childcare Center, St. Joseph's Village, Richmond Hills Family Center, Salvation Army-Harbor House, La Casa de las Madres, Homeless Prenatal Program, Connecting Point, DrawBridge, A Home Away From Homelessness, Families in SRO's Collaborative, Treasure Island Homeless Development Initiative (TIHDI) and Treasure Island Elementary School.
