Oldies But Goodies Cocker Rescue

Our mission and purpose is to help homeless, abused, neglected Cocker Spaniels and Spaniel mixes by providing refuge, medical care, rehabilitation, socialization and re-homing. Founded in 1996 and granted non-profit status in 1999, OBG is a network of foster homes in the Washington, DC Metro area. Companion Cockers receive medical care, spay/neuter, tests, and vaccines. Fostering allows the dog to re-acclimate to a home environment. Adoptive families are matched to a dog's temperament. OBG is an all volunteer organization sheltering dogs once slated for euthanasia. OBG seeks to educate our community about the plight of the Cocker Spaniel, the benefits of adopting a shelter (or owner-surrendered) dog, thereby decreasing demand for over-breeding

Southern Tails For Precious Paws Rescue

Southern Tails Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit, supported by local community donations in order to ensure the physical and medical well-being of the dogs. We rely solely on the financial support of our donors’ generosity as well as any fundraisers we host, and the time and energy of our volunteers. We focus on rescuing dogs from rural shelters and streets in the surrounding areas of Charleston, South Carolina.
