Our mission is to empower the lives of individuals with physical, cognitive, behavioral and/or emotional disabilities through our equine assisted activities. We strive to enhance the lives of our riders, their families and volunteers in a safe, equestrian oriented environment.

Neigh Savers provides California's Thoroughbreds with a chance at a second career or a well deserved retirement when their racing careers have come to an end due to soundness issues, age or lack of success at the track.

Our purpose is to rescue underprivileged, unwanted dogs, and strengthen the human-animal bond in our community by educating the public about animal welfare.

Secure a better world for animals through human understanding

Dog by Dog. To rescue all­ breed dogs, who have been abandoned in shelters or on the street, for the purpose of finding them safe permanent homes, and to provide beloved companion animals to loving families. To guide prospective adopters in choosing a companion animal of appropriate breed, age, and temperament for their lifestyle, and to educate them in the proper care of their adopted pets. To provide veterinary care, training, and follow­up support, even re­homing if necessary, for our rescued dogs. It takes a village. To inspire and motivate individuals worldwide to take action to alleviate the suffering of innocent, abandoned and unwanted animals in their own communities. To educate and inform the public regarding the importance of spaying and neutering in reducing canine and feline overpopulation.

Our mission is to provide immediate safety and care to stray, abused and abandoned animals. Once we are assured animals are medically sound, we place them in a secure, temporary, no-kill environment. This immediate placement provides all the love and comfort necessary for their well being and allows us to get to know them. Then, we look for "forever" homes that are committed to their health and happiness for the duration of their lives. When we match an animal with a caring person or family, Buddy is truly fulfilling our purpose of lighting the way home

Established in 1986 by Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas, OFI’s mission is to support the conservation, protection, and understanding of orangutans and their rainforest habitat while caring for wild-born, ex-captive orangutan orphans as they make their way back to the forest. OFI is dedicated to ensuring the survival of biologically-viable orangutan populations in the wild and safeguarding the welfare of orangutanswherever they are found. Our field work takes place in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo and involves a multi-pronged approach, including: (1) animal rescue, sanctuary, rehabilitation, repatriation and protection; (2) conservation education; (3) orangutan research; and (4) habitat protection, acquisition and restoration. In order to preserve forest ecosystems we empower local communities in Borneo through economic development and education initiatives. We raise awareness of orangutan and forest issues throughout the world through field research, the publication of books, scientific reports, articles, and newsletters, as well as lectures, conferences, events, workshops, and seminars.

Sweet Farm is the first non-profit sanctuary in the world to address the global climate impacts of factory farming across animals, the plants, and the planet. Our food web is incredibly complicated and it’s impossible to move forward without first understanding how these pieces are connected. By linking climate education, veganic agriculture, farm-animal rescue, and the technology that is sustainably disrupting food and agriculture production — Sweet Farm is redefining what it means to be a sanctuary.

The Association for Needy and Neglected Animals is a nonprofit, no-kill, open-admission animal welfare organization founded by Ruth Thompson in June 2004.
