The Odd Cat Sanctuary

The Odd Cat Sanctuary is a nonprofit 501c (3) organization approved MA charity. Our mission with the Odd Cats of New England is simple, yet complex – our foundation regards the Odd Cats in every sense, be it a medical illness, a behavioral issue, abandoned, abused, neglected, feral, semi-feral, death row inmates, or physically challenged. While our cats cannot speak for themselves we have committed our time and effort to champion their cause. Cats have a magnificent presence that deserves to be defended through love, medical care, and affection in the fostering role first; and then with adoption options and placement in their forever home. We have developed the process toward adoption that supports our mission. Our adoption procedure is a three step method that nurtures a successful placement. Additionally, our rescue seeks to decrease the overpopulation in New England that is desperately challenged, this challenge to the overpopulation is where the Odd Cat thrives. We are entirely foster based, volunteer driven, and completely reliant on donations, contributions, and fund raising. Community support is our foundation.

Bullies 2 The Rescue

Bullies 2 the Rescue (B2TR for short) and our volunteers have been helping pure-bred bullies and their families for almost 10 years now. We are a licensed North Carolina shelter and a 501c3 charitable organization. The care we provide our English Bullie rescues exceeds any you will find from a breed rescue. This love includes a high quality diet, the best veterinary care around from a bulldog specialist, and behavioral evaluations of the highest quality. We offer nutrition and lifelong wellness support to every adopter. We serve the state of North Carolina, the state of South Carolina and the state of Alabama. Made up of 150 volunteers, B2TR has rehomed almost 350 bullies and counseled hundreds of families to provide support, encouragement and training consults to help keep bullies in their homes. The national economic downturn in the past few years has presented some unexpected challenges for B2TR with an unprecedented rise in bulldog surrenders both by owner families and various animal care and control organizations that turn to B2TR for assistance in appropriate placements. Our dedicated group of volunteers has enabled us to not only respond to this increased need for our services but also to strategically expand both our service area and our exceptional Rescue Program which focuses on allergy issues, skin problems and large scale surrender situations.
