Nalani Horse Rescue (Nalani is Hawaiian for “the Heavens”) is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to horse rescue and rehabilitation. Our mission is to provide horses in need of rescue with care, rehabilitation and training with the goal of finding them safe, forever homes. At Nalani, we are committed to giving these horses an opportunity to meet their potential in a loving, healthy and trusting environment. Nalani is located at Little Bull Run Farm, in Catharpin, VA adjacent to the battlefields. It is a peaceful haven for horses who have been through trauma.

Paws Fur Recovery

Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate dogs stuck in high kill shelters that are at risk of euthanasia. At the same time we strive to empower our volunteers who are all recovering addicts and alcoholics. Paws Fur Recovery aims to promote these benefits for our dogs and volunteers: ○ Encourages positive change and a sense of purpose ○ Increases self-esteem. ○ Teaches trust again ○ Promotes responsibility and accountability ○ Decreases anxiety and depression in both the addict and the dog ○ Provides socialization for both the addict and the dog ○ Creates a symbiotic relationship of unconditional love and acceptance

Pledgeling California Wildfire Animal Relief Fund

When you donate to the California Wildfire Animal Relief Fund, you are supporting work on the ground by trusted nonprofit organizations. Every donation will be split evenly between Humane Society of Ventura County and Panda Paws Rescue in support of animals who have been evacuated, displaced and are in need of sanctuary due to the wildfires in California. Your support is needed now more than ever, as communities struggle to survive from the devastation caused by these fires. All donations are tax-deductible and each organization has been vetted by the Pledgeling Foundation.

Your Dog’s Friend is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization working to improve dogs’ lives, reduce problem behaviors, and keep dogs out of shelters, by educating and supporting their humans. Angels for Minis a 501 c3 non-profit, strives to be a safe sanctuary for miniature horses who have been abused, neglected, hoarded, starved, or removed by legal authority. To train horses to trust human touch so they can be placed into permanent loving homes.Educate the community about the epidemic of miniature horse abuse and neglect.To care for horses who come in poor health, re-nourish horses who arrive emaciated and to socialize horses who have been without human interaction, Place minis in loving forever homes that are right for the mini, and the mini is right for the home.

The Devoted Barn

The Devoted Barn is an animal rescue and rehabilitation facility in Newport, Michigan.  We take in animals of all kinds from cruelty, neglect, and large scale hoarding cases. We help animals that are unowned and that need urgent medical attention.  We also have a large feral dog program.  These animals come to The Devoted Barn  to heal both physically and emotionally.   They learn to trust and love again, or for the first time, with the help of at risk youth and special needs adults who come to work at the barn.  In addition to helping the animals, our mission to teach compassion & empathy to others through working with our animals.

Frankies Furry Friends Rescue

Frankies Furry Friends Rescue is a small group of volunteers and fosters that foster the dogs in their own homes until they are adopted. Their main concern is giving a small breed dog either from a puppy mill or a local shelter a second chance at a life. They offer them a safe place until their forever homes are found. They receive proper food, they learn how to trust people. The foster gives them lots of love and attention, they are microchiped, and all vetting (including spay or neutering, vaccinations, heartworm testing, bordetella and heartworm preventative) they need until their forever homes are found. They educate the public about the importance of spaying/neutering the animals, emphasize the importance of adopting a dog, knowing it is a lifetime commitment.

David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation

The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) is an adaptable and flexible, non-bureaucratic organisation responding promptly to conservation threats by supporting trusted, reputable individuals and organisations operating in the field. Lean on administration but generous on funding, the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation supports a range of innovative, vital and far-reaching projects throughout Africa and Asia, achieving real results for wildlife survival by: - sending undercover agents into the field to investigate illegal wildlife crime, training and supplying anti-poaching patrols - establishing nature reserves and other protected areas - working with governments to establish conservation laws and regulations - educating wildlife consumers about the plight of the animals they 'use' - teaching young people about endangered wildlife through art and school projects
