The Institute for Bird Populations is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded in 1989 to study the causes of bird population declines. IBP's first major initiative was the Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship (MAPS) program, a continent-wide collaborative network of bird banding stations.

The mission of the Kindness Ranch is to provide a sanctuary and place of rehabilitation for animals who have been used in laboratory research while fostering compassion for all animals.Consistent with our mission, we work to rehabilitate our dogs and cats in a home-like environment. Cats and dogs at The Kindness Ranch live together with their human caretakers in spacious yurts specially designed to meet their needs. They receive round-the-clock care to help them adjust to their new lives.The Kindness Ranch also provides an adoption program for all the animals we can rehabilitate. Those who are too debilitated, old or ill to be placed in a loving home can remain on the ranch to live out their days, surrounded by caretakers and volunteers who put the animals’ well-being first.***Kindness Ranch IS a 501c3 non profit organization. Friends of the Plymouth Pound (FPP), is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to creating "forever homes" for rescued cats and dogs on the South Shore. Founded in 1984, The Friends and its dedicated and caring volunteers have assisted thousands of animals (owned and strays) by providing support through the groups various programs, which include: low-cost spay/neutering, adoption, and educational outreach.

Focusing on saving dogs scheduled to be euthanized from kill shelters; fostering them in a home; providing them with all the love and medical attention they require until they find their forever homes; educating the community about the animal over population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering.

The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada provides a lifelong home to donkeys and mules that have been neglected or abused, or that can no longer be cared for by their owners. The DSC provides a program in animal welfare education to school and community groups. In addition, the DSC has developed a Foster Farm Program wherein animals are placed in pairs on permanent loan at suitable farms. The Sanctuary Farm is open to the public on Wednesdays and Sundays, 10-4, May through October.

The mission of FOTAS is to support the Aiken County Animal Shelter by promoting animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and the elimination of euthanasia of all adoptable animals.

The Friends of Oakland Animal Services (FOAS) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that funds veterinary care for injured animals, shelter housing and facility improvements, adoption and fostering outreach and supplies, and volunteer program support.

Our mission is to rescue, medically treat, emotionally restore and permanently place in loving forever homes; homeless and needy pug dogs in the Houston and surrounding areas.

The mission of Friends of the Animal Village is to provide supplemental financial and promotional support to our local animal shelter, the Little Rock Animal Village. Through fundraising events, donations, and promotion, our ultimate goal is to raise awareness about the Village and increase adoptions

The International Wildlife Coexistence Network provides expert interdisciplinary assistance, training, collaboration, and shared research to enable communities around the globe to coexist with wildlife. The IWCN is an inclusive organization. We share our informational resources and provide widespread support for all who seek to peacefully resolve conflicts with wildlife. Our interdisciplinary teams include scientists, agricultural managers, researchers, ethicists, economists, government specialists, educators, indigenous leaders, technical engineers and more who are helping to pioneer new ways to live with wildlife. When possible, we connect our experts with communities that need help transforming wildlife conflicts into non-violent sustainable solutions. Feeding Pets of the Homeless believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond which is very important in the lives of many homeless. They find solace, protection and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets on limited resources so they themselves have less. Our task, nationwide, is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of the homeless who cannot provide for their pets.
