Richmond Animal Welfare Foundation

Richmond Animal Welfare Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides resources to Richmond Animal Care & Control (RACC) to help increase adoptions and improve the quality of life of pets in its care. The foundation was established in 2005 after a study conducted by the Human Society of the United States (HSUS) determined Richmond Animal Care & Control may see an increase in animals when the Richmond SPCA became a limited admission/no-kill facility. RACC is the only open admission animal shelter in the city servicing over 3,000 animals per year that need immediate care. Today, RAWF supports the costs of critical emergency care and a part time trainer/behaviorist.

David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation

The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) is an adaptable and flexible, non-bureaucratic organisation responding promptly to conservation threats by supporting trusted, reputable individuals and organisations operating in the field. Lean on administration but generous on funding, the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation supports a range of innovative, vital and far-reaching projects throughout Africa and Asia, achieving real results for wildlife survival by: - sending undercover agents into the field to investigate illegal wildlife crime, training and supplying anti-poaching patrols - establishing nature reserves and other protected areas - working with governments to establish conservation laws and regulations - educating wildlife consumers about the plight of the animals they 'use' - teaching young people about endangered wildlife through art and school projects

The Yellowstone Park Foundation works in cooperation with the National Park Service to fund projects and programs that protect, preserve, and enhance the natural and cultural resources and the visitor experience of Yellowstone National Park. YPF's Tomorrow’s Stewards Funding Initiative supports projects to enhance the park’s youth education programs and to promote the understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of Yellowstone among the next generation.

Petaluma Animal Shelter handles all animal control and adoption services for the city of Petaluma and animal control services for the city of Healdsburg. We take in lost domestic animals and owner surrendered pets and handle all dog licenses for dogs within Petaluma and Healdsburg city limits. We provide hope and homes to animals in need–and excellent service to our customers.
