The Humane Society is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Arkansas. The purpose and policy of the Humane Society is to protect, care for, and reduce the population of neglected, homeless, unwanted or abused animals within Baxter County and 25 miles surrounding area with particular emphasis on the canine and feline populations. The Humane Society operates an animal shelter where all animals receive adequate food, water, shelter, and medical attention. An attempt is made to place all animals in homes where they will receive proper care. The Humane Society also operates a thrift shop to assist in securing funds necessary to operate our facilities. The Humane Society secures grants and donations to fund a spay/neuter program for individuals needing financial assistance.

Mayte’s Rescue was founded by Mayte Garcia to place healthy, adoptable dogs in new and loving homes. In that, our goal is to rescue abused dogs and those who have been neglected or lost their owner due to foreclosure of their home. In addition we will aid in the fight against pet over population and abuse.

The mission of Wild Salmon Center is to conserve the healthiest wild salmon, steelhead, and trout ecosystems across the North Pacific. We identify the strongest habitat and populations -- what we call "strongholds" for wild fish -- and preemptively protect them for the benefit of the people, wildlife, and jobs that rely on wild salmon to thrive.

To rescue and provide care and shelter for homeless, abandoned and abused animals in our service area. To find loving “forever” homes for the animals that we rescue. To reduce the over-population of unwanted and homeless dogs and cats in Southside Virginia through public education and our low and no-cost spay and neuter programs.

As Tuolumne Spay and Neuter, we aim to offer low-cost spay and neuter services to promote healthy pet ownership, reduce the number of unwanted animals, and manage the feral cat population. We will serve low-income community members, trap-neuter-return (TNR) efforts, and local rescues.

Tigers4Ever's mission is to halt the decline of wild tiger populations by helping people living on the periphery of tiger territories & equipping forest patrols protecting tigers in India. We work with local communities & the Forest Department to build a future where people live in harmony with and have an enhanced understanding of tigers.

Heart of Idaho Animal Sanctuary's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find permanent homes for and/or make every reasonable effort to offer permanent residence to animals in need. We will be a voice of advocacy and education for animal welfare, humane treatment and population control. We hope to encourage compassion for animals through our work.

Our vision is a community where there are No More Homeless Pets.  We have a three-fold mission to: (1) prevent cruelty to animals; (2) reunite lost animals with their owners, adopt animals to qualified homes, or place them with reputable rescue organizations, and (3) encourage responsible pet ownership and population control

We are a foster based rescue. We rescue cats and kittens from feral populations, bottle-feeding abandoned kittens and helping cats with special needs. we provide compassionate care to the sick and injured, We focus on TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) to help with the community cat population. A lot of our rescues come from kittens or friendly adults we find in the colonies we manage. Our cat Cali is special needs, she was found at 3 months old, wet, muddy, cold and paralyzed. She’s is now 5 yrs old and living her best life, she lets nothing stop her. We rely heavily on donations to fund our rescue operation.

We provide trap, neuter, return services in an effort to reduce the feral cat population and suffering of these animals. We also place kittens and friendly cats found in feral colonies through our foster/placement network. Lastly we maintain a sanctuary for feral cats that get displaced from thier homes.
