Feeding Pets of the Homeless believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond which is very important in the lives of many homeless. They find solace, protection and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets on limited resources so they themselves have less. Our task, nationwide, is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of the homeless who cannot provide for their pets. The Foundation for the Equestrian Arts (“FEA”) is a nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable purposes. FEA was created to promote and provide educational services and training in the historical and classical form of horsemanship and equitation based on historical principles for the benefit of riders, trainers, horse rescue operations, students of leadership, and all horses.

The mission of FOTAS is to support the Aiken County Animal Shelter by promoting animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and the elimination of euthanasia of all adoptable animals.

Assistance Dogs of the West (ADW) builds successful working partnerships between clients and dogs that empower people and open doors to new opportunities.

The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada provides a lifelong home to donkeys and mules that have been neglected or abused, or that can no longer be cared for by their owners. The DSC provides a program in animal welfare education to school and community groups. In addition, the DSC has developed a Foster Farm Program wherein animals are placed in pairs on permanent loan at suitable farms. The Sanctuary Farm is open to the public on Wednesdays and Sundays, 10-4, May through October.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies pulls homeless dogs and cats from shelters and places them in loving foster homes until their forever homes are found.  We promote spaying and neutering to reduce pet overpopulation and encourage quality relationships between pets and their people through behavior resources and training.

Leader Dogs for the Blind breeds and trains dogs (and future owners) to assist the blind. Our mission is empowering people who are blind or visually impaired with lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel. An international tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the Purple Martin (Progne subis) species of bird through scientific research, state-of-the-art wildlife management techniques, and public education. The PMCA's scientific staff conducts research on all aspects of martin biology throughout the bird's North, South, and Middle American breeding, wintering, and migratory ranges. The organization functions as a centralized data-gathering and information source on the species, serving both the scientist and the martin enthusiast. Its major mission is educating martin enthusiasts in the proper techniques for managing this human-dependent species.

The Brittany Foundation Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1994 to rescue, rehabilitate, care for and find homes for homeless dogs, including dogs from animal shelters, puppy mills, strays, and victims of foreclosures and hospice situations. Dogs remain at the Sanctuary until they find a home, no matter how long it takes.

The mission of the Lloyd Center is to instill a life-long respect and affection for nature in citizens of all ages through research and education; to advance a scientific and public understanding of our coastal ecosystems and the need to protect them; and to promote a legacy of natural diversity largely in, but not restricted to, the coastal environments of southeastern New England.
