Tlc Canine Rescue

Their mission is to prevent cruelty to animals. The rescue shall accomplish its mission by finding quality, forever homes for displaced dogs in which all adopted dogs will be indoor family members, to promote post-adoption training to make good canine citizens and provide neutered pets in order to control populations. The rescue is a foster-based rescue and will do home visits and adoption follow-ups on all adopted companions.

Houston K 911 Rescue

Houston K911 Rescue is a non-profit organization with a mission to address the immediate crisis of animal overpopulation in Houston by rescuing street dogs in poor health and in danger. They provide safe haven and rehabilitation. They place them in loving homes to be fostered and adopted. They turn their lives around. A Kitty’s Purrsuit of Happiness (KPOH) is a veteran founded and operated, non-kill rescue dedicated to improving the lives of abused, abandoned, ill and injured cats. We promote Spay and Neuter and Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return programs as the most humane method of effecting positive change in cat populations. We provide medical care and long-term accommodations for special needs cats under our guardianship.

paws4people foundation trains and places customized Assistance Dogs for two general populations: children and adolescents with physical, neurological, psychiatric or emotional disabilities; and Veterans and active-duty Service Members with Chronic/Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), and Military Sexual Trauma. p4p Volunteers perform thousands of hours of Social Therapy and Educational Assistance work with their p4p certified Assistance Dogs.

Every Dog Counts Rescue

Every Dog Counts Rescue (EDCR) is a non-profit all-volunteer organization founded to save the lives of dogs in high-kill shelters in Indianapolis and the Midwest. Dogs facing death row are pulled from these shelters and live in our foster homes and receive veterinary care while awaiting transport to our rescue partners in areas of the country with less pet over-population, or until we find a loving home for them locally.

Pups Without Borders

Pups Without Borders is a 501(c)(3) dog rescue established in March 2020. While we rescue many dogs of all ages, we specialize in rescuing pregnant and nursing mothers who have been abandoned or are in need of medical help in Southern California and Mexico. We provide them a space to give birth, care for their puppies, and recover from a spay in order to help control the pet population with responsible alteration.

Montgomery County Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals
