We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony. Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.” When donating, you are supporting our medical and shelter funds. Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies (GRRR) is dedicated to the rescue, rehab & rehome of Golden Retrievers and Golden Retriever mixes. GRRR is mostly a volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that helps place unwanted, abandoned or surrendered Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes into safe, loving homes. We "never say no to a Golden in need".

The Humane Society for Greater Savannah envisions a community that understands, values and promotes the ways in which pets enrich our lives. Its mission is to better the lives of pets and people. The organization offers a range of programs/services, including: dog and cat adoptions, pet surrender services, low-cost spay/neuter, vaccine clinics, Nuzzle Buddies, Foster Program and a Volunteer Program.

Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter (FAAS) promotes and provides for the welfare, care and health of animals. Through its leadership it will support the efforts of like-minded, community-based programs; educate the community on the care of animals.
