To provide the best of professional and kind care to every wild animal who comes to us in need. To always consider their fear and pain and make their stay as stress free as possible. To release wild, reclusive, whole animals back to suitable habitat when they are ready. To ALWAYS and only do what is best for the animals in all that we do here.

Box Turtle Sanctuary Of Central Virginia

Educating has been the primary goal of the sanctuary. My “Turtles to you” program, has been very successful and through it many children have had an opportunity to learn, see and touch box turtles of all sizes. This program will continue as long as there are children. Future hopes for the facility at the sanctuary include field trips, where turtles can be observed in their natural habitat

Leader Dogs for the Blind

Leader Dogs for the Blind breeds and trains dogs (and future owners) to assist the blind. Our mission is empowering people who are blind or visually impaired with lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel. Bikini Beach Cat Rescue

They offer weekly low cost spay/neuter clinics for felines in the Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island areas in order to reduce the number of free roaming cats and kittens. They utilize local veterinarians and subsidize the cost by fundraising throughout the year. Their focus is on reducing the community cat (feral) population and helping our residents get their felines fixed at a reasonable cost.

Laurel Cats

Laurel Cats is a community based, all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to finding and implementing ways for free-roaming "community" cats to live harmoniously alongside people, their homes, and their businesses throughout Laurel, Maryland while humanely reducing their numbers. We are working towards a day when all Laurel cats have a good indoor home.

OUR MISSION IS TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF UNWANTED COMPANION ANIMALS THAT ARE DISPOSED OF AND SUBSEQUENTLY DESTROYED AT ANIMAL SHELTERS. WE ALSO WORK TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF FERTILE FELINES THAT ARE IRRESPONSIBLY ABANDONED TO BECOME FERAL CAT COLONIES. OUR LOW-COST OR FREE SPAY/NEUTER SERVICES ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS WORKING WITH SHELTERS AND OTHERS HAVING OR FINDING FERAL CAT POPULATIONS.

Panthera

Panthera is the only organization in the world that is devoted exclusively to the conservation of the world’s 38 wild cat species and their ecosystems. Utilizing the expertise of the world’s premier cat biologists, Panthera develops and implements global strategies for the most imperiled large cats: tigers, lions, jaguars, snow leopards, cheetahs, pumas, and leopards. Representing the most comprehensive effort of its kind, Panthera partners with local and international NGOs, scientific institutions, local communities, governments around the globe, and citizens who want to help ensure a future for wild cats. Panthera’s grants program, the Small Cat Action Fund (SCAF), additionally supports conservation and research initiatives on many of the 31 smaller wild cat species around the globe.

Semper K9 Assistance Dogs

Combat veteran founded and operated, Semper K9’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for wounded members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families by providing them custom-trained service dogs. Using rescued and donated dogs Semper K9 provides mental health mobility service dogs for psychiatric alert and mobility challenges free of charge to disabled veterans across the country.

Jacksonville Friends Of The Animals

Our mission is to help reduce euthanasia of healthy animals in our community. We raise money to assist rescue groups who save animals from local shelters and pay for associated vet fees including spay/neuter, rabies vaccinations and heartworm treatment if needed. We sponsor no-fee adoptions and free spay/neuter events in our our community.

Town Cats

The mission of Town Cats Inc is to enrich the lives of free-roaming, feral and/or abandoned cats in the Ocean City and surrounding communities by limiting the population growth and providing medical care through Trap/Neuter/ Return (TNR), and affordable adoption services. Serving Worcester county MD, Wicomico County MD, Southern Sussex County DE and northern Eastern Shore VA.

American Brittany Rescue

Incorporated in 1991, ABR’s mission is to provide the leadership and expertise via a network of trained volunteers to take in stray, abandoned, surrendered and/or impounded purebred Brittanys, provide them with foster care, health and temperament screening, an opportunity for any necessary rehabilitation and to assure their health and placement into new homes. In order to fulfill this mission, ABR’s volunteers remain flexible and adaptable to current and future business environments and they remain dedicated to the organization.

Good Mews Animal Foundation

Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro-Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free, limited admission haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Good Mews promotes public awareness regarding the value of pets, animal welfare, pet overpopulation, and quality human-animal companionship through education and outreach programs.
