Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to reducing the suffering and overpopulation of feral and stray free roaming community by practicing and promoting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We also practice Trap-Neuter-Adopt (TNA) to any adoptable cat. We believe, as a community, it is our obligation to come together and be the difference in community cats’ lives.

Caring Canines Visiting Therapy Dogs

The mission of Caring Canines is to provide exemplary volunteer visits with our dogs to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, schools, and residential programs in an effort to improve the quality of life and emotional health of those served. All Caring Canines visits are free-of-charge. With committed, trained volunteers, Caring Canines is able to expand the therapeutic role that our canine companions provide for those in need.

Captain Paul Watson Foundation

THE CAPTAIN PAUL WATSON FOUNDATION has been established to promote and further the legacy of Captain Paul Watson. To focus on the protection and conservation of the Ocean through direct intervention supported by education, documentation, research activities and partnerships with other NGOs, governments and international institutions like the United Nations. It will be made up of a small team that will prevent any future interference or dilution of the overall vision of Paul's legacy by keeping management and bureaucracy minimal.

Vegan Outreach

Founded in 1993, Vegan Outreach is a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to end violence towards animals. We seek a future when sentient animals are no longer exploited as commodities. We focus on reaching the people who are motivated enough to make changes now—of which there are always many in our target audience who just need some additional encouragement. By steadily increasing the number of vegans we're laying the groundwork to more quickly reach a tipping point.

Act Locally For Animals

Our immediate mission is to allow local Southwest, DC resident Tina Maddox to continue and expand the important work she is doing to care for her local homeless cat community. Tina has devoted her life to these cats. In the future, our mission will expand to include collaborating with other people who help feral cat communities in the area and conducting outreach activities that will educate the public on the humane treatment of animals in general and feral cats in particular.

The Human Animal Connection

The Human-Animal Connection is an educational training program designed to bring out the best in people and animals. We bring therapy animals to anyone experiencing stress or compassion fatigue in the line of duty -- Veterans, health care providers, and first responders. Our services are offered free of charge to people and we use a structured method of therapeutic interaction based on mutual respect, gentleness, and empathy with the goal of increasing resilience and well-being.

Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition

Save Our Wild Salmon (SOS) is a nationwide coalition of conservation organizations, commercial and sport fishing associations, businesses, river groups and taxpayer advocates working to restore sustainable, harvestable runs of salmon to the Columbia Basin. Our current mission is to restore abundant, harvestable runs of salmon to the Columbia and Snake River Basins. Wild salmon and free-flowing rives are the cornerstone of a healthy environment and vibrant economy in the pacific northwest.
