Little Bear Sanctuary

Their Mission: "At Little Bear Sanctuary, we provide a permanent home for farm animals that have been abandoned, escaped slaughter, or can no longer be cared for by the owner. These neglected animals have an opportunity to live out their lives in a cruelty-free environment. Additionally, we advocate for all animals by promoting animal welfare and protection via educational opportunities and community outreach. We also provide public education on sustainable organic farming and the health benefits of a plant-based diet."

Cats Limited

Our hope and ultimate goal is to spay and neuter free-roaming cats including stray, abandoned, feral, and community cats that will ultimately (over time) lower intake numbers in shelters. Good Samaritans are already feeding and in most cases providing shelter from the elements, but most never go that crucial extra step to spay and neuter in an effort to stop the reproduction cycle. Cats Limited was created to both educate and help shoulder the burden of these compassionate ‘caretakers’ in Montgomery County.
