Angels for Minis a 501 c3 non-profit, strives to be a safe sanctuary for miniature horses who have been abused, neglected, hoarded, starved, or removed by legal authority. Cat Town's mission is to transform the approach to saving shelter cats, reducing euthanasia nationwide. Our focus is to find great homes for cats who are considered unadoptable in the traditional rescue model.While most rescue organizations support their local shelter by focusing on confident cats who are easily adopted, Cat Town focuses on the elderly, under-socialized, stressed, and sick or injured cats who would otherwise be killed. The Cat Town model proves these cats are highly adoptable, and has helped reduce the euthanasia rate at Oakland Animal Services, Oakland’s municipal shelter, by over 70% since 2011.

Founded in 1937, the organization’s mission is “To inspire, empower, and enable wildlife professionals to sustain wildlife populations and habitats through science-based management and conservation.” The Wildlife Society enhances our members’ networking and learning opportunities, professional and career development and provides numerous ways for them to get more involved in creating a better future for wildlife and their habitats. Our more than 11,000 members include: -Scientists, managers, educators, technicians, planners, consultants, and others who manage, conserve, and study wildlife populations and habitats. -Students who are pursuing degrees and experience that will enable them to become the next generation of wildlife professionals. -Supporters who help spread the word and take action on important wildlife and habitat issues. Biosphere Expeditions is an award-winning not-for-profit conservation organisation, and a member of IUCN and the UN's Environment Programme. For us successful conservation is the collective effort of individuals. We invite everyone to join us on our wildlife and wilderness projects all over the world. Whether young or old, become a citizen scientist for one or two weeks, or more. The foundation of our work is science and local need. We focus on sustainable conservation projects that target clearly defined, critical issues that humankind has the power to change. You, our international volunteers, work hand-in-hand with local biologists and communities to drive positive outcomes for biodiversity - the creation of a protected area for snow leopards in the Altai is just one recent example. Biosphere Expeditions is a member of the IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature) and of the United Nations Environment Programme's (UNEP) Governing Council & Global Ministerial Environment Forum. Achievements include the implementation of our conservation recommendations and species protection plans by numerous national and regional governments and NGOs, the creation of protected areas on four continents, scientific and lay publications, as well as capacity-building, training and education all over the world.

The mission of the Kindness Ranch is to provide a sanctuary and place of rehabilitation for animals who have been used in laboratory research while fostering compassion for all animals.Consistent with our mission, we work to rehabilitate our dogs and cats in a home-like environment. Cats and dogs at The Kindness Ranch live together with their human caretakers in spacious yurts specially designed to meet their needs. They receive round-the-clock care to help them adjust to their new lives.The Kindness Ranch also provides an adoption program for all the animals we can rehabilitate. Those who are too debilitated, old or ill to be placed in a loving home can remain on the ranch to live out their days, surrounded by caretakers and volunteers who put the animals’ well-being first.***Kindness Ranch IS a 501c3 non profit organization. Lift Me Up! is a therapeutic horseback riding program dedicated to providing safe and effective instruction for children and adults who have varying disabilities. We teach riding skills adapted to each rider’s cognitive and physical needs. By combining the unique and special presence of our therapy horses and the skills and or our caring registered instructors Lift Me Up! helps hundreds students gain confidence, strength and self-esteem in our friendly, fun environment. Riding at Lift Me Up! helps our students to sit and stand unassisted, walk independently, improve their focus and attention span and enhance their social and communication skills.

To provide a home for abused, unwanted, and orphaned children and animals. To provide an education for a culturally diverse group of children: school, improved social skills, and emotional stability are part of our plan to help break the cycle of poverty and destructive behavior. To provide an awareness through our rehab/education programs which emphasizes that all living things have value no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. When we as a society can recognize this fact we will begin to win the battles for conservation and preservation. To provide God's unconditional love and care for humans and animals who have special needs in their lives, whether mental, physical, or emotional.

Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue is a small, grassroots network of 10 to 12 animal lovers working together to rehabilitate 6 to 10 rescued dogs at a time, until that rescue is ready for placement as a companion animal. We pull dogs from both local kill-shelters, the New York City Animal Care and Control’s nightly “To Be Destroyed” List, and Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control.We are committed to providing spay/neuter, all appropriate medical treatment, foster homes/kenneling, training, socializing, and creating behavioral improvement plans for every dog who enters Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue.

Paws As Loving Support (PALS) Assistance Dogs is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the human/animal bond by providing specially trained: Service PALS help children with disabilities, including Autism and Down's syndrome. These dogs assist with the daily needs in the home and the community. Facility PALS assist professionals working with children with special needs. Social PALS, Therapy PALS, Reading PALS, and Comfort PALS Teams are certified to volunteer and serve the special needs of the community. Courthouse PALS Teams provide emotional support and comfort to victims and witnesses of violent crimes before, during and at the conclusion of a trial.

Since our founding in 1995 by Lynn Cancro, Caring About The Strays (C.A.T.S.) has worked to find “forever homes” for abandoned, unwanted, neglected, or abused companion animals in the Pascack Valley area. All the animals in our care are in foster homes, which helps socialize the cat or dog and allows us to identify the best type of home for each animal to ensure a successful adoption. We also work to reduce the overpopulation of feral cats with our Trap-Neuter-Release program. In addition, our team also strives to educate the public about the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to decrease the number of unwanted pets.

OUR MISSIONTo Rescue, rehabilitate abused and neglected equine and place them into safe, permanent homes.Provide permanent sanctuary for equine that due to age or health cannot be adopted.Give those equine placed in sanctuary a purpose in life by joining them with children of special needs, physical or emotional disabilities, or who are a victim of abuse/violence, at risk youth.To assist each child with special needs or trauma in reaching their full potential through interaction with horses, to include self-esteem, confidence, social skills, small and gross motor skills, balance, core strength, visual planning skills, attention span, cooridination, flexibility and concentration.

We are a foundation 501 c (3)that seeks to improve the quality of life of animals in the condition of the street, through the implementation of comprehensive programs of population control, nutrition, adoption and social responsibility -Vaccination and sterilization campaigns with medical help to those in most critical conditions.Offer solutions that help to combat the problem of population and mistreatment of animals, treating them as a problem of public health and coexistence, promoting the adoption of animals rescued and recovered from abandonment, systematically carrying out mass sterilization campaigns in dogs, such as the only method statistically proven, being at the same time efficient, ethical and free of cruelty, to face the high street population.
