The Barren River Animal Welfare Association is a partnership of caring community members providing a safe haven for homeless companion animals. We provide animals in need with humane treatment and good homes while working to reduce the population of unwanted pets through spay/neuter programs, education, and outreach.

An international tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the Purple Martin (Progne subis) species of bird through scientific research, state-of-the-art wildlife management techniques, and public education. The PMCA's scientific staff conducts research on all aspects of martin biology throughout the bird's North, South, and Middle American breeding, wintering, and migratory ranges. The organization functions as a centralized data-gathering and information source on the species, serving both the scientist and the martin enthusiast. Its major mission is educating martin enthusiasts in the proper techniques for managing this human-dependent species.

The Eau Claire County Humane Association was organized in 1962 in response to a growing need to care for unwanted and abandoned animals. It was incorporated in 1968 and a board of directors was established. Our mission is: to prevent cruelty to animals; to provide shelter and compassionate care for abused, neglected, lost, and unwanted animals; to adopt animals into loving, responsible homes; to educate the community about the importance of spay/neutering to control pet overpopulation; to educate the community about the humane treatment of animals and responsible pet ownership; and to enforce animal protection laws.

To enhance the care and living conditions of domestic animals within the city of Trinidad and Las Animas County, with emphasis on population control, adoption, disease prevention, support of shelters, and the education of the community on animal care issues.

Our obligation is to serve as a responsible land steward of the Refuge property and its natural resources, while promoting, implementing, and supporting environmental education.

Cape Ann Animal Aid is a non-profit, no kill organization dedicated to facilitating appropriate placement of adoptable animals and enhancing the lives of all companion animals by promoting respect and well-being through education and outreach.
