Eau Claire Area Humane Association

The Eau Claire County Humane Association was organized in 1962 in response to a growing need to care for unwanted and abandoned animals. It was incorporated in 1968 and a board of directors was established. Our mission is: to prevent cruelty to animals; to provide shelter and compassionate care for abused, neglected, lost, and unwanted animals; to adopt animals into loving, responsible homes; to educate the community about the importance of spay/neutering to control pet overpopulation; to educate the community about the humane treatment of animals and responsible pet ownership; and to enforce animal protection laws.
