TINY PAWS KITTEN RESCUE INC

What We Do Tiny Paws focuses primarily on taking in orphaned newborn baby kittens that cannot survive on their own. Unfortunately, without human intervention these babies wouldn't have the opportunity to grow into the loving individuals they'll soon become. A team of well-trained, dedicated staff and volunteers tend to the kittens around the clock, providing bottle-feeding and medical care under veterinary orders in a safe and healthy environment. Tiny Paws kittens also receive unparalleled intimate socialization with humans, creating lasting bonds and a natural predisposition for companionship. Once weaned, the kittens are readied for adoption and thoughtfully matched with their new family. Tiny Paws fills the gap left by area animal agencies that cannot provide labor intensive care for these infants. Without an organization like Tiny Paws fulfilling this role, kittens such as these are ordinarily euthanized or simply left to perish. Bottle-fed kittens are a high-risk, high-needs population for which most rescues aren't adequately funded, staffed, or equipped to provide the necessary care. It takes a awful lot to replace their Mama's care. Here at TPKR, We never refuse an infant kitten because of its medical condition. We are a no-kill rescue. We have a 100% spay/neuter policy. The kittens depend on us for their survival, and we depend on donations, financial and volunteer support, grants, and fundraising for our survival.

Friends For Felines

Friends for Felines, Inc. was formed to increase cat adoptions by working collaboratively with our animal shelter and rescue community to increase successful cat and kitten adoptions throughout Western New York. We bring cats closer to the public at Tabby Town, a rescued cat's "home between homes". All our cats and kittens deserve good food, good health and a good home. We accomplish this work in part because of the unwavering support of our team of volunteers as well as our private and corporate sponsors and donors. Their valued belief in us enables us to sustain our adoption center and on site "catique", and allows us to give all necessary and often costly medical care and socialization to our cats and kittens and broaden our community outreach programs to continue our work. Tabby Town actively supports and works collaboratively with our community through our rescue cooperative program, sending the vital message that all homeless felines are deserving of a good home. We are fully committed to facilitating all necessary medical and emotional care to further adoption and we work closely with our veterinary partners and the animal welfare community to decrease euthanasia across our area. All our animals are spayed or neutered (if necessary) and given proper veterinary care upon arrival and our team focuses on providing comfort, care and love in a safe, clean, happy environment. We showcase our cats in cozy condos while they await their new homes, and we welcome our visitors to enjoy a positive, uplifting experience while they meet our cats and kittens.

SOS Beagle Rescue

SOS (Save Our Snoopies) Beagle Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the placement of abandoned and neglected beagles. Our Purpose: To rescue abandoned dogs from shelters and provide temporary housing for them via our foster network until such time that each may be placed in a loving, safe environment and a permanent home. To assist owners no longer able to care for their beagles in finding new and permanent homes for them. To provide public education and training on the beagle breed including characteristics, physical form and known breed health related issues. To reduce pet overpopulation by spaying/neutering all beagles prior to adoption. Our Vision: All beagles in our care will be raised in a secure, nurturing environment. We will provide veterinary care including vaccination, heartworm testing and treatment (if necessary) and other procedures on an as-needed basis to ensure each dog adopted from our Rescue is physically and mentally sound. We also will provide each animal with behavioral evaluation, socialization and humane training so that every dog placed through SOS is given the best chance possible to live out his/her life fully in a loving, permanent home. We will work with local and national humane societies, breed rescues and animal shelters in an effort to foster a positive community of networked rescue professionals. The basis for our decision-making will be our knowledge of the breed, and our experiences with working with rescued animals. When necessary, medical decisions will be handled collaboratively between SOS founding members and qualified Doctors of Veterinary Medicine. Our volunteer staff will be knowledgeable about the breed. They will be professional in all dealings where they serve as representatives of SOS Beagle Rescue. Our Goals: To build and maintain funds for routine medical care and housing of each dog in our fold. To microchip and spay/neuter all dogs prior to adoption. To provide a positive impact on every animal in our care by providing each a permanent, loving home including senior and/or special needs dogs. To increase public awareness of the beagle breed and SOS Beagle Rescue, by attending shelter showcases, meet and greets, and by participating in an ongoing exchange with others in the business of rehoming pets. To build our volunteer and foster home base.

Feed the World

Feed The World's mission is to empower poor smallholder farm families to feed themselves and provide for the future through sustainable farming. Guiding Principles - Seeds of Dignity and Hope are planted in the hearts of our smallholder farm families as they work together to provide for themselves and build a better future. Transparency & Accountability means that we will do exactly what we promise to do in the communities we serve and that we will be open and honest with our donors in communicating how funds are being used. Lasting Self Reliance is achieved as families obtain sufficient knowledge and education, manage resources wisely, and prepare for the future so that they will continue to thrive after our support ends. Sustainable Farming is practiced by smallholder farm families as they plan, plant, and harvest food for themselves and their livestock, while building human capacity to recognize and enhance the efficient use of their natural resources. Nutrition & Income are the core benefits to smallholder farm families as they grow and produce foodstuffs that provide for a nutritionally balanced diet on an economically sustainable basis. Scientifically Proven Methodology guides the implementation of agricultural best practices with our smallholder farm families and on our demonstration farms. We also support further scientific research through partnerships with universities, governments, and other non-governmental organizations (NGO's). Mutual Respect is the goal of our in-country agronomists, nutritionists, and animal scientists as they interact with smallholder farm families, seeking to understand the "why" behind traditional practices, and always exploring new possibilities. Training & Education in sustainable farming, nutrition, food preparation, and hygiene are key to ensuring that lasting self reliance is achieved by smallholder farm families. Honoring Culture means that our programs work within the local cultural framework to empower and educate smallholder farm families without imposing an outside culture on them. Family Focus involves both women and men in all aspects of decision making, training, and education; and keeps children and parents united and working together on their land. Feeding the Spirit means that while Feed the World does not identify itself with one particular religion or belief system, we honor the spirituality of all human beings and serve all program participants irrespective of their beliefs or social station. Pay It Forward means that we expect our smallholder farm families to pass on their seeds, stock, and knowledge to other families in need once they have successfully provided for themselves.

K2011127140 trading as PSI Projects

The Paardeberg Sustainability Initiative (PSI) was conceived in 2001, in recognition of threats to the biodiversity and natural resources of the Paardeberg , a privately-owned mountain in the Western Cape, South Africa. A primary threat is economic pressure facing some 50 farmers and landowners of the mountaintop and surrounding areas.Additional and aggravating threats are global climate shifts, poverty, limited statehood. compromised capacity, education and implementation/enforcement of legislation. These challenges must be addressed to fulfill world guidelines (Agenda 21,SDG's, et) for sustainable development. PSI is currently a VAT- registered Non Profit company [NPC] and Public Benefit Organisation with Section 18A tax exempt status. It is aligned with several partners which share its vision and operate in the Paardeberg, and in this sense can be described as collaborative facilitator. Through fundraising for various integrated non-profitable projects, the PSI seeks to promote sustainability in the Paardeberg and in broader Southern African contexts. The PSI also encourages local profitable enterprises to contribute generously and tax-efficiently to a central fund that is managed by the Board of Directors of the PSI. These funds are either 'ring- fenced' for specific projects, or allocated to projects requiring support, through a process that seeks to fulfill both the agenda of the donor and the mandate of the PSI. The PSI houses both enterprises (SMME's) and projects. Projects depend on the PSI for funding, while the enterprises represent potential sources of funds/assets for the PSI. The PSI acts as an umbrella offering core functions of administration, marketing, HR management, accounting, etc to all projects and SMME's based on an economy of scale. It is thus an ideal incubator to develop new businesses while minimizing risk. The vision of the PSI is to create a successful model of sustainable development, promoted by profitable enterprises and non-profitable projects, co-operating in partnerships that oversee responsible management of natural resources and biodiversity , within an economic framework that obviates the plague of poverty and social decay while upholding the law and supportive of good governance. The PSI has housed several projects, including the Paardeberg Fire Project, Paardeberg Environmental Awareness and Response(ongoing), Paardeberg Alternative Energy Solutions, Paardeberg Botanical Surveys, PSI NatReM Project and the Paardeberg Erosion Project. It is also acting as an incubator of SMME's engaged in these and other projects. All finances are conducted through a central bank account, but independently managed and audited for each project/business separately, as per the PSI MOI. The PSI does not prejudice the independence of enterprises or projects falling within its ambit. However, its role in protecting biodiversity and natural resources influences the directives it generates. Participation of all interested and affected parties of any single project or enterprise is key to the application of these directives.
