Warrior Ranch Foundation envisions a world where veterans and rehabilitated horses realize their productive future in society. Through horse interaction, Warrior Ranch provides a safe haven of healing and well-being for veterans, first responders and horses in need.

Operation Freedom Paws empowers veterans and others with disabilities to live a quality life by teaching them to train their own dogs, and certifying them as service dog teams. The dogs, usually from rescue organizations or shelters, are carefully evaluated. Each is then matched to a specific client’s physical and psychological needs. There is no charge – all we ask is a commitment to complete the 48-week training program.

Our mission is a 3 part mission: to rescue and revive the unbridled spirit in both our rescued horses and our American heroes. To educate and advocate for our American Mustangs as well as horses that are stuck in the slaughter pipeline. Saving Paws Animal Rescue Inc. is dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned and special needs animals and finding new adoptive homes or providing a lifelong sanctuary for them; to train and provide service dogs to children, adults and Veterans with disabilities to help with both physical and emotional independence. We also seek to educate the public regarding animal responsibility and the use of service dogs in public places

At Freedom Service Dogs, we unleash the potential of shelter dogs by transforming them into custom-trained, life-changing assistance dogs for people in need. Our clients include children, veterans and active duty military, and other adults. Their disabilities include autism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

The rescue of unwanted, special needs and senior dogs , cats and farm animals from our local county shelter. Our dogs are rehabilitated through behavior training and therapy in a unique home like environment. Our goal is to match these pets with not only families, but seniors, veterans, special needs people and rehabs.We provide sanctuary to the seriously disabled and elders , to live out their lives in peace comfort and love.

Warrior Dogs Matter provides free veterinary care to the service dogs of US military veterans and service members.

paws4people foundation trains and places customized Assistance Dogs for two general populations: children and adolescents with physical, neurological, psychiatric or emotional disabilities; and Veterans and active-duty Service Members with Chronic/Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), and Military Sexual Trauma. p4p Volunteers perform thousands of hours of Social Therapy and Educational Assistance work with their p4p certified Assistance Dogs.

They are a volunteer rescue organization, breed specific to Pit Bulls. Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home dogs identified primarily as American Pit Bull Terriers and American Staffordshire Terriers. Their goal is to place these adoptable dogs into their safe and loving forever homes.

Pets for Vets Washington DC Metro rescues animals from area shelters and trains them to become Companion Animals for Veterans who may be challenged with an invisible injury such as PTSD or Traumatic Brain Injury. Saving the life of a homeless animal while significantly improving the wellbeing of an injured Veteran is an amazing way to give back to your community!

Their mission is to care for the physical, mental, and emotional needs of children, adults, Veterans, first responders, and their families through the healing power of horses.
