Alley Cat Rescue

ACR's programs promote better care for community cats through trap-neuter-return. Local programs include placing unwanted cats in new homes, running a low-cost spay/neuter clinic, and providing support for local feral cat caretakers. Nationally we operate a network of CAT ACTION TEAMS across the U.S. Our May Spay Challenge has developed a national network of veterinarians offering free or low-cost TNR services. ACR's mission is to lead the way for humane care for all cats.

Kitty City Kansas Rescue

Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a group of unpaid volunteers dedicated to saving homeless kittens and cats from euthanasia in kill shelters and to adopting them into approved, permanent, loving homes.  We are a no kill organization.  Our kitties live cage free in licensed foster homes in the metro area until they are adopted. On weekends all of the foster homes bring the kitties to our adoption center for adoption. If not adopted, they return to a foster home to be loved and cared for until adopted. We specialize in rescuing very young and often ill or injured cats and kittens frequently bottle feeding and nursing them back to health

Idaho Rivers United

IRU was founded in 1990 to protect Idaho's wild rivers and fish. IRU believes healthy rivers and ecosystems are critical to Idaho's communities. We build grassroots campaigns around public policy issues raised by hydropower dams, fisheries restoration, water policy and watershed management. We are watchdogs, advocates, organizers and public opinion leaders in local, state and national river campaigns. For all who love the adventure, solitude and freedom of Idaho's wild country, IRU is the vigorous defender of Idaho's wild rivers and fish. We provide effective leadership to keep our free-flowing rivers from being dammed and to restore Idaho's wild salmon and steelhead.

4 Paws 4 Rescue

The purpose of 4 Paws 4 Rescue is to make an impact locally and nationally on the euthanasia rate in shelters and address the needs of animals living on the streets. 4 Paws 4 Rescue is a volunteer "all foster home" organization, meaning all rescue animals are provided the warmth and comforts of a home with a foster volunteer until they are adopted. All rescued animals are given excellent vet care including an evaluation exam, up to date vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchip. Many of our companion animals need additional care for various ailments and diseases before they are able to be adopted out. Not only is 4 Paws helping these animals directly, but also helping to control the future pet population by altering all companion animals before adoption

Greyhound Adoption Center

They find loving homes for rescued track greyhounds and greyhound mixes. Their program focuses on each dog’s well-being, providing quality medical care and TLC as they transition to forever homes. The Greyhound Adoption Center ensures that each dog is well-matched to its new family. Transportation, food, shelter and medical care — often including extensive surgeries for broken legs sustained on the track — are provided. Many dogs are housed in cage-free modules complete with air conditioning and dog runs. The dogs socialize with people, other dogs, cats and children, all in an effort to assess their behavior via their expert profilers. Trained adoption representatives profile each dog and each adopter to find the right fit.

Angels Furry Friends Rescue

Angel’s Furry Friends Rescue, is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, and for the prevention of cruelty to animals, within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The purpose of the corporation is to provide rescue, shelter, transportation within the US and from abroad, and adoption of homeless dogs and cats, assist individuals with problems, concerning animals. They provide education by giving free lectures and talks in schools, libraries, and other public venues as well as utilizing social media channels and the corporation’s website to provide facts, statistics, and other related data on causes, current efforts, and solutions to eradicating the problem of homeless dogs and cats on local and global levels.

Red Paw Emergency Relief Team

Our mission is to provide relief and recovery for displaced pets and their people 24/7, free of charge and to ensure that ALL family members are taken care of during and after a disaster in their home. The Red Paw Emergency Relief Team is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based 501 (C) 3 nonprofit organization run by firefighters that provides relief and recovery for displaced pets and their people in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Red Paw provides care at the incident scene, emergency transport, veterinary care, spay/neuter, vaccinations, ongoing wellness, food and temporary shelter for dogs, cats, and other owned animals involved in both residential fires and other disaster incidents at no cost to the individuals that we serve.

Sullivan County Humane Society

The Sullivan County Humane Society is a community engaged nonprofit committed to improving the quality of life for animals within our county and to putting an end to animal overpopulation, abandonment, and neglect. Through top-notch loving care, we offer our animals the best chance for a fresh start. Through responsible adoptions, we will find homeless animals new forever homes. Through humane education and outreach, we will promote responsible ownership. Through low-cost spay/neuter programs aimed at both owned pets and free-roaming cats, we will limit the number of litters born in our county and therefore decrease the numbers surrendered to the shelter. Through programs for low-income pet owners, we will help pets remain and thrive in their forever homes

DREAM EQUINE THERAPY CENTER INC

“Our mission is to provide emotional support and wellness to the terminally and chronically ill through rescued and rehabilitated equines. Our main rescue focus is orphan nurse mare foals. Every year we rescue between 30-50 foals. We also provide community services such as horse care education and free or low cost gelding clinics”. Dream Equine Therapy Center provides equine therapy to patients at hospitals, facilities or at the farm. We visit hospitals, nursing homes and rehab facilities. The equines used for these programs and that reside at DETC are all in some way rescued or rehabilitated and given a second chance. Any proceeds go toward the care of these equines and to rescue many more horses and foals and help them find “Loving Forever Homes”.

Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue

Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of abandoned, neglected and abused guinea pigs, rabbits, and other small animals in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, area and beyond. We offer a home for life to any animal that enters our organization when a suitable permanent home is unavailable. Our rescue provides advice, support, and when available, funds and/or supplies, to future and current guinea pig and rabbit owners so as to encourage a lifelong commitment to those animals. When this is not possible, the rescue will, when resources allow, assist in the placement of any guinea pig, rabbit, or other small animals into other suitable accommodation. The organization is also committed to ending the cycle of neglect and abuse by providing quality education and resources on proper guinea pig and rabbit care and by generating public awareness as to the root causes of the problem.

Charlie Chili Macs Rescue Transport

THEIR MISSION: Charlie Chili Mac's Rescue Transport, Inc. is a 501(c)3...and we are named for three awesome Fur Kids...two of them are at The Bridge...Charlie and Mac...and the third one is living the life in Saunderstown, RI, with Garry Cayce and Deidre Sharp of Horse Play Equine Rescue and Sanctuary. And it will ALWAYS BE FREE...no cost for driving the KIDS to a SAFE and LOVING NEW LIFE...EVER !! We began this rescue transport Adventure a little over a year ago. Since our home really could NOT bring home any more Fur Kids, for now, the next best thing was to offer to HELP in any OTHER way we could. Since I...Patrice Hughes...work from home, and make my own hours, I decided to take part in a rescue transport for a couple of puppies that were going to their foster home. And so it began. And continues...

Branford Compassion Club

It is our mission to neuter, vaccinate, test and provide medical intervention for every feline that passes through our doors, in addition to more than 7 feral populations. In 2018, we accepted more than 348 cats and adopted out more than 257 - bringing the total number of adoptions since we opened our shelter in 2011 to more than 1789 cats and kittens.The average cost of medical procedures for each cat entering our shelter is over $550.We receive no municipal funding from any town, and many state programs have been eliminated.Our operating costs in all areas- rent, shelter maintenance, supplies, and veterinary care- continue to increase. With the exception of one paid shelter manager, our shelter is run entirely by dedicated volunteers.Our future depends on the generosity of people like you. Our cats’ lives depend on you!
