Basset Rescue Crew of the Southeast, Inc (BaRCSE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation run solely by volunteers. BaRCSE specializes in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted, and abandoned basset hounds. They are dedicated to the health and welfare of needy basset hounds in the southeast region.

The Emilie Beard Foundation for Felines is dedicated to rescuing, providing sanctuary, insuring good health, and placing cats and kittens into loving and pet-responsible homes. We strive to educate the public about the importance of neuter and spay to help reduce the population of unwanted, homeless, or abandoned cats in our community.

To rescue, restore to health, and place dogs and cats from shelters and find them loving new homes. To educate the public about responsible, compassionate pet guardianship while providing both pro bono and low cost veterinary services for those who otherwise could not afford this care.

We stand with shelters and humane societies around the country in the mission to find abandoned animals homes and to help rectify the over-population crisis of dogs and cats in the US. Through our efforts each year, and through the generous donations of our supporters, the National Humane Society aids and assists in funding individual shelters to give volunteers and the animals they serve a fighting chance of making a change. We actively support and engage with communities to improve perceptions of adopting animals, and to protect the animals in question.
