"We strive to protect and be an advocate for parrots who have lost their home. Our programs include rescue, rehabilitation, and the rehoming of these parrots. We support our community through educational events which include the senior population, school programs, and providing parrot visits to challenged adult, children, and hospice patients."

To end unwanted litters of dogs and cats, homeless animal suffering, and overpopulation by providing low-cost, high quality, spay and neuter services. To promote and provide advanced spay and neuter education and training to veterinarians, while promoting the cause of humane animal care and responsible animal ownership through community education.

Our mission is to strengthen disaster response in America by rescuing and recruiting dogs and partnering them with firefighters and other first responders to find people buried alive in the wreckage of disasters. Since our inception in 1996, SDF has trained over 231 teams in California, Florida, Nebraska, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Baja California who have responded to over 200 disasters across the US and internationally. Our mission is to place rescued cats and kittens into loving homes; to provide a safe, happy, and healthy home for unwanted cats and kittens in a unique, no-cage facility; to prevent pet overpopulation through spaying and neutering; and to educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We serve primarily Tulare, Fresno, and Madera Counties of Central California, with some rescues and adoptions in additional counties.
