Labrador Friends of the South (LFS) is an incorporated, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of homeless Labrador Retrievers in the Southeast region.LFS relies solely on donations, fundraising events, and adoption fees to function and continue saving and placing homeless Labradors. We do not receive any state or federal funding. LFS is an all volunteer organization of people who give their time and effort out of a love for labs. Our goal is to protect and save them from the perils of pet over-population and irresponsible pet ownership. Our ultimate goal is to help these dogs find new, loving, forever homes.LFOS-9403The Labradors in our program receive veterinary care and temperament testing before being eligible for adoption.

Dalmatian Rescue Of Tampa Bay

Dalmatian Rescue of Tampa Bay rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes as many Dalmatians and Dalmatian-mixes in Florida shelters as possible that need our help. Our first and main priority is to take the Dalmatians and Dalmatian-mixes who are facing euthanasia at high-kill facilities. If resources permit, we also help Dalmatians in surrounding states. We provide care-for-life foster homes and a sanctuary for Dalmatians who cannot find a home due to their advanced age and/or medical conditions. We thoroughly screen prospective owners with home and veterinary reference checks before placing any Dalmatian into a new home. We do post adoption follow-ups either by calls or visits to insure that the adoption requirements are fulfilled. We provide ongoing assistance and support to all adopters of our Dalmatians. All dogs are spayed or neutered and given any medical treatment needed to ensure they are healthy before being placed. We strive to educate the public about rescue and adoption by attending numerous events throughout the year.

Canine Partners of the Rockies' mission is to positively impact the lives of Colorado residents with disabilities by placing highly skilled service dogs with individuals who have mobility limiting conditions and facility dogs with professionals who provide therapeutic services to people with disabilities. CaPR also is dedicated to educating the public about the role assistance dogs play in the lives of people with disabilities.
