Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue

Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue, Inc. (AACSR) dba NY Abandoned Angels Rescue (NYAAR) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of Cocker Spaniels and other dog breeds in need of loving forever homes. AACSR will not reject any dog due to age or health reasons and often accepts dogs with temperament and/or medical issues. AACSR relies solely on donations whether through adoptions or the generosity of the public to help pay for the veterinary care of sick, physically disabled, and behaviorally challenged dogs. To date, NY Abandoned Angels Rescue has saved over 3,500 dogs, including 200 dogs in 2012, 140 dogs in 2013, 185 in 2014, 175 in 2015, and 125 dogs in 2016. AACSR is a proud member of the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals.

Veterans Moving Forward

The mission of Veterans Moving Forward (VMF) is to provide service dogs, facility dogs and Emotional Support dogs to American veterans with physical and mental health challenges at no cost to the veteran or their family.. Through these services, VMF strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our disabled veterans by facilitating their recovery and increasing their safety and independence within their homes and communities. VMF provides canine support to address both visible and invisible wounds, ranging from adjusting to loss of limbs to post-traumatic stress. These disabilities may have been acquired either during military service to our country, or through an accident or illness incurred in private life following that service.

Hope Through Horses

Their Mission is "Sharing the Healing Power of Horses and Transformative Coaching with the World". They provide funding for organizations and individuals committed to and involved in improving the lives of individuals and horses partners through the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® and other Touched By A Horse® horse-human healing methods. The EGCMethod® is an experiential method of coaching in partnership with a horse. Clients who participate in experiential therapies report more impactful results and longer lasting change when compared with talk therapy.
