A place you feel welcome and at ease, and able to focus on what's best for both your family and for the animal. We're a small, close-knit group of kind-hearted folks who put the welfare of the animals we rescue first, above all else. We'll be asking lots of questions, and listening closely to your needs to help you make an educated decision on next steps. We are a state approved 501(c)3 all-foster, all-volunteer, nonprofit organization. We appreciate your kind donations and will use your funding to make a difference. 100% of all proceeds of all fundraising goes towards the health, medical care, shots, spay/neuter, and well-being of the animals we rescue. Our volunteers are the heart of our organization. We promise you a fun and fulfilling experience in a safe and nurturing environment that includes a drama-free atmosphere. Here at Rosemarie's Rescue Ranch, Inc., we are committed to a single goal: Saving lives. Rescuing, rehabilitating broken souls, and re-homing relinquished pets with loving families. Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue

We all have full time jobs, families and other activities in our lives. We spend our own time working on the organization, planning to get these dogs out of shelters before they are put down, scheduling vet appointments, transporting dogs cross country and processing adoption applications. Many times these dogs are in far away places and the dogs have to be pulled by a volunteer and then boarded for around $5-10 a day until they can be transported to a foster home in Colorado. We work on organizing a transport for these dogs sometimes from one end of the country to another. We use our donations for the extra cost of pulling, vetting, boarding, and transporting the dogs. If you can not donate in the form of money we can always benefit from materials such as collars, leashes, crates/kennels, toys, treats, food. We will gladly take used items. If you are donating food please make sure it is a decent higher quality food. See our GRADING YOUR DOG FOOD page for information. We believe that there are a lot of junk dog foods out there and the dogs skin, fur, activity level, and health depends upon a high quality dog food. Please go to the DONATE link above to donate. Thank you for any help, when we are supported we don't feel as if are efforts are pointless.

All horses in our program are evaluated by twoprofessional horse trainers before they are placed. Each horse’s overall health condition isassessed by our staff, and veterinarian, if necessary, and immediately-neededhealth issues are treated. Chronic conditions are recorded as such. All SBR horses are in a lifetime program andwill always have the option of being returned to SBR if the adopter’scircumstances change. SBR encourages every potential adopter to visitour facility and try out any of our treasures that may be a potential match. While we encourage visits, we understand it isnot always possible to visit us on-site. Heaven Can Wait Equine Sanctuary

Heaven Can Wait is committed to providing our rescued equine residents a safe haven where they do not starve, are not neglected, do not go without medical care, someplace where they are safe from abuse and from ever having to face great suffering and untimely death. We act on the belief that these noble animals, which we have relied on for so long for our own survival, deserve to live in comfort, safety and good health until their days are done. Along with our commitment to continue the care of our rescued residents, is our commitment to provide the opportunity to educate children and adults about not only the enjoyment of owning an equine and the wonderful bond that can be created between humans and equines, but also about the responsibility, the knowledge, the costs, and the time that is required for such ownership. Only through education and awareness can we all improve the quality of life for all equines. Cruelty and neglect should never be acceptable options. We also are committed to opening our sanctuary to others, i.e. therapists, who wish to use our facility and the horses for their own equine-facilitated therapeutic activities and we are open to any visitor. The magic of our equine residents is that they have found a way to forgive the bad inflicted upon them by humans in their pasts and are willing to bring laughter, joy and education to special needs kids, to girl scout troops, to church groups and to many others, and they bring great pleasure to those who love horses and who just want to be around them, their smell, their character and understanding. We are a happy Sanctuary.

Fruit Tree Planting Foundation

MISSIONThe Fruit Tree Planting Foundation is a nonprofit charity dedicated to planting edible, fruitful trees and plants to benefit the environment and all its inhabitants. Our primary mission is to plant and help others plant a collective total of 18 billion fruit trees across the world (approximately 3 for every person alive) and encourage their growth under organic standards.FTPF provides support, resources, and guidance for those interested in planting fruit trees and spearheads a variety of planting programs. These programs are aimed at enriching the environment, providing nutritious food sources for wild and rescued animals, and improving human health by bringing delicious, fresh, locally grown raw fruits and vegetables of the highest quality into the lives of all people.VISIONWe envision a place where one can have a summer picnic under the shade of a fruit tree, breathe the clean air it generates, and not have to bring anything other than an appetite for the healthy fruits growing overhead. A world where one can take a walk in the park during a lunch break, pick and eat a variety of delicious fruits, plant the seeds so others can eventually do the same and provide an alternative to buying environmentally-destructive, illness-causing, chemically-laden products.Simply put, our goal is to encourage and inspire the planting of 18 billion fruit trees around the world. 18 billion fruit trees can spring out of the soul of one human being — we believe in thinking big, and loving even more

Friends For Felines

Friends for Felines, Inc. was formed to increase cat adoptions by working collaboratively with our animal shelter and rescue community to increase successful cat and kitten adoptions throughout Western New York. We bring cats closer to the public at Tabby Town, a rescued cat's "home between homes". All our cats and kittens deserve good food, good health and a good home. We accomplish this work in part because of the unwavering support of our team of volunteers as well as our private and corporate sponsors and donors. Their valued belief in us enables us to sustain our adoption center and on site "catique", and allows us to give all necessary and often costly medical care and socialization to our cats and kittens and broaden our community outreach programs to continue our work. Tabby Town actively supports and works collaboratively with our community through our rescue cooperative program, sending the vital message that all homeless felines are deserving of a good home. We are fully committed to facilitating all necessary medical and emotional care to further adoption and we work closely with our veterinary partners and the animal welfare community to decrease euthanasia across our area. All our animals are spayed or neutered (if necessary) and given proper veterinary care upon arrival and our team focuses on providing comfort, care and love in a safe, clean, happy environment. We showcase our cats in cozy condos while they await their new homes, and we welcome our visitors to enjoy a positive, uplifting experience while they meet our cats and kittens.

Mile High Labrador Retriever Mission

Our Mission...The Mile High Labrador Retriever Mission, (MHLRM), a 501(c)3 non-profit public charity, is dedicated to alleviating the needless death and suffering of homeless or misplaced (lost and stray) purebred Labrador Retrievers as well as Labrador mixes mostly in high-kill overpopulated pet areas that usually are out of state. By rescuing and rehabilitating homeless Labradors in high-kill areas, vigorously promoting responsible dog ownership through active participation in pet-related events, and through our own education program, we strive for a better life for each of our animals. The majority of dogs that you see available for adoption with MHLRM were previously in county pounds or shelters that find themselves at capacity and are forced to euthanize, or dogs that have simply "sat on the shelf" and not gotten adopted quick enough and have run out of time. Many of these facilities use euthanasia methods that are considered inhumane by the majority of the US population but are still being implemented (ie. the gas chamber method or "heart-stick" method). We are active in the metro area of Colorado, and we belong to an amazing network of volunteers across the country that work hard in very rural areas to help get Labradors to safety. We have rescued Labs from Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming. When we learn of a dog in need, we coordinate foster arrangements and appropriate health care where the dog is and also here in Colorado, and then we attempt to bring them here to Colorado and MHLRM, find them an amazing family and give them a new outlook on life.

Josephines Rattery & Rescue

JOSEPHINE'S RATTERY & RESCUE'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE LOVE, CARE, AND SHELTER TO SURRENDERED AND RESCUED POCKET-PETS THAT ARE UNDER-SERVED IN OUR COMMUNITY. OUR GOALS ARE TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE LOVE AND COMPANIONSHIP THAT ALTERNATIVE PETS PROVIDE AND INCREASE AWARENESS ABOUT HEALTH WARNING SIGNS TO PROPERLY CARE FOR AND HOUSE SMALL PETS SO THEY ARE HAPPY AND HEALTHY. WE ARE BASED IN WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA IN PALM BEACH COUNTY. WE TRAVEL ALL OVER SOUTH FLORIDA TO PICK-UP AND ADOPT OUT PETS. WE HAVE ADOPTERS IN KEY WEST, NAPLES, TAMPA, ORLANDO, AND JACKSONVILLE. WE SPECIALIZE IN THE CARE OF AND EDUCATION ABOUT RATTUS NORVEGICUS (NORWAY RATS); HOWEVER, IN SOUTH FLORIDA IF YOUR PET IS UNUSUAL, SUCH AS A CHINCHILLA, SUGAR GLIDER, HAMSTER, GERBIL, RAT, MOUSE, FERRET, BUNNY, OR GUINEA PIG, THERE ARE VERY FEW SAFE PLACES TO SURRENDER. SO WE WENT FROM A RAT RESCUE TO A SMALL ANIMAL RESCUE; BASICALLY NO CATS, DOGS, OR BIRDS. WE EVEN TAKE IN REPTILES, BUT THAT IS BECAUSE WE KNOW THE PRESIDENT OF THE HERPETOLOGICAL SOCIETY (WHO THINKS OUR AMBASSADORS ARE AWESOME) AND HE HELPS BY CARING FOR SURRENDERED REPTILES. WHEN IT COMES TO SMALL PETS, JOSEPHINE'S BELIEVES HEALING THEIR WOUNDS AND PROVIDING THEM SHELTER AND SECURITY IS AS IMPORTANT TO AS IT WOULD BE FOR ANY OTHER MORE COMMON PET. WE CARE FOR THE SMALL AND DISENFRANCHISED.. THE UNDERVALUED PRAY ANIMALS DOMESTICATED OVER 150 YEARS AGO .. SO LONG AGO THAT THEY ARE VULNERABLE AND COMPLETELY DEPENDENT ON US FOR THEIR SAFETY AND WELL-BEING. JOSEPHINE'S IS JUST LIKE THE ANIMALS THEY ADVOCATE FOR. SMALL BUT WE HAVE A LOT OF HEART AND PASSION FOR WHAT WE ARE DOING. WE HOPE TO CHANGE MINDS AWAY FROM THE SIGMAS ABOUT RATS AND OTHER ANIMALS. SO MANY PEOPLE DO NOT REALIZE HOW SOCIAL THEY ARE AND HOW MUCH LOVE AND CARE THEY NEED AND GIVE BACK. THIS IS A DIFFERENT AND WONDERFUL WORLD.
