The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia’s mission is to create a community recognized for responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of animals through offering basic pet wellness and spay/neuter services, public education, and placement of companion animals.

Bichon Rescue of Orange County California is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of neglected, abused, or otherwise homeless Bichon Frises, especially seniors, bichon mixes and other small non-shedding breeds, placing these rescues into permanent, stable, and caring forever homes. We believe in the value of our senior citizens as adopters as well as fosters and are committed to their advocacy and support through our “Seniors for Seniors” focus. We believe in promoting awareness of the need to spay and neuter pets, and of the importance of proper medical, dental and nutritional care. We believe in cultivating a volunteer spirit in our youth and educating them about the importance of pet advocacy.

The Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter, a 501(c)(3) animal service agency, is devoted to providing medical, social, behavioral and financial care for animals at risk and determined to eliminate animal homelessness in the Burbank community.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary. The HSOC provides animal control services for the City of Ocean City with four full-time, state-certified Animal Control Officers, two of whom are also certified as Cruelty Investigators. As an animal rescue, HSOC's mission in animal control is the protection and care of domesticated stray animals and injured wildlife. All trapped wildlife is relocated back into the proper Ocean City environment per state mandates unless a state-licensed facility agrees to accept the animal. HSOC works to rescue animals (both pets and displaced wildlife) during disasters and to find temporary housing for pets of families whose homes may have been damaged or destroyed. HSOC has been activated three times during the past eight years for disaster relief, the most recent one during the devastating Hurricane Sandy.

The Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, Inc. was founded by a group of residents of Schoharie county disturbed by the plight of the many straved, abused and stray animals in this area.ASSV is a not for profit, NO KILL organization  & is made up of all volunteer members & board of directors, with the exception of the shelter manager & kennel workers.The goal of ASSV has been to try to aleviate stray animal suffering & to build a shelter to house, feed & care for these animals until safe & loving homes are foundfor them.  We are providing space in the new building to house a low cost spay/neuter clinic.ASSV also strives to educate the public to spay & neuter their pets to eliminate the problem of unwanted offspring.

Pet Pride of New York, Incorporated saves the lives of homeless cats in our community by providing sanctuary, medical care, and adoption into loving, permanent homes. We take in cats and kittens who are stray, or who have been abandoned, mistreated, voluntarily surrendered, or orphaned. Once a cat is admitted to Pet Pride, they stay with us for as long as it takes to find their forever home. We operate a no-kill cat sanctuary and adoption center which is open to the public. Our cats and kittens enjoy an open, enriched environment during their stay at our sanctuary. We also maintain a network of foster homes for our youngest kittens and our expectant and nursing mom cats. All of our cats and kittens receive expert veterinary care and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption

Their mission is to reduce stray and shelter animal populations in the Philadelphia region by finding permanent homes for adoptable dogs, cats, and rabbits.
