Jacksonville Friends Of The Animals

Our mission is to help reduce euthanasia of healthy animals in our community. We raise money to assist rescue groups who save animals from local shelters and pay for associated vet fees including spay/neuter, rabies vaccinations and heartworm treatment if needed. We sponsor no-fee adoptions and free spay/neuter events in our our community.

A Kitty’s Purrsuit of Happiness (KPOH) is a veteran founded and operated, non-kill rescue dedicated to improving the lives of abused, abandoned, ill and injured cats. We promote Spay and Neuter and Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return programs as the most humane method of effecting positive change in cat populations. We provide medical care and long-term accommodations for special needs cats under our guardianship.

Heart Of Texas Lab Rescue

Heart of Texas Lab Rescue, Inc. was founded in 1998 and services the state of Texas, concentrating mostly in Central Texas. The purpose of HOTLR is to rescue pure-bred Labrador Retrievers from situations which endanger the well-being or welfare of the dogs and place these rescued Labs in loving homes. In an effort to limit the number of abandoned and unwanted dogs, HOTLR also attempts to educate the public to obtain a better awareness and appreciation of this particular breed and in becoming responsible pet owners, no matter what type of pet they own.
